Hey Jimmy, Bondo is just body filler, I've used U-Pol (get it at Halfords) - smells fantastic ;D

You can also get a super smooth finish with wet'n'dry sanding like Ond's Retro Futuristic cab if you put in the time, but obviously you don't need to go mad if it's just for patching holes and dents.

Anything like this will do the job really. Just be prepared to sand, sand, sand...............

bondo = davids p38 , isopon.

the only difference is that bondo is a little more malleable and easier to apply .
davids p38 however is a better grade filler ( stronger ) .
the only downside to using p38 is that it sometimes leaves very small pin-holes  on the surface( trapped air ) .
davids now do a new version of p38 that is pin-hole free . check the website for the code :)
