Tac/Scan hook up. Oscar?
« on: August 05, 2003, 10:32:17 pm »
I just bought a complete Tac/Scan panel on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3235749623&category=13718&rd=1

What exactly will I need to hook this up. The oscar mouse hack, AND the Oscar optic board, or just the mouse hack? (Don't want to bother with an Opti-Pac for a single spinner).

By the way. I probably won't be attaching this to a cabinet. I am just going to use the whole panel complete, and box in the bottoms and side, and let it sit on my desk.

Acceptance of Zen philosophy is marred slightly by the nagging thought that if all things are interconnected, then all things must be in some way involved with Pauly Shore.

I just replied to a similar thread: http://www.arcadecontrols.org/yabbse/index.php?board=1;action=display;threadid=10476.

In short, possibly the USB mouse may work and you may need to add pull up resistors.
