Raster to Vector converter? Or Illustrator
« on: August 05, 2003, 10:22:17 pm »
I downloaded a few that I found on CNET's Download.com..  but they didnt seem to be much use to me,

Is there something better out there or should I just run through an Illustrator tutorial I found and do it that way?

I am proficient in photoshop, but need to get into vector art so i can transfer my work to cabinets/controls

Thanks in advance

-Linch

Depending on the simplicity of the image to begin with, you get various results.

My experience has been that they all produce bad images, with harsh lines or ridiculous curves.  The interpretation is pretty bad mostly.  That's why I wrote the tutorial, you'll get better results by hand.
