FS: Karate Champ? (Alberta, CA)
« on: July 26, 2010, 11:15:13 pm »
I may or may not be getting my hands on a Karate Champ machine, that I would (more than likely) be looking to gut. Really just interested in the joysticks for myself, so it would be a stripped CP. Not sure it even has the original CPO. CPO is crap!

Marquee and bezel look to be in respectable shape. Monitor is DOA, game board is working, but with a dead monitor, I'm considering it untested.

Just posting here to get a gauge of interest of any parts. The machine is complete, and plays blind (again, DOA monitor).

Anyone interested in any parts?

I think that is a Stern cabinet. Definitely not an original Karate Champ PvP. I might be interested in the board. Mine appears to have a bit of video corruption, but I haven't investigated it yet.

You're absolutely right. Looks like the sideart is from some other cabinet... http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=8280

Can't tell what game exactly it was, though. I don't know arcade machines enough to recognize the artwork, either.
