Aimtrack Gun Holsters?
« on: July 27, 2010, 08:33:33 am »
Has anyone made or found decent fitting holsters for their cab to use with Andy's Aimtrack gun casing? I'm tired of leaving mine on the floor! Anyone?

Aimtrak is bigger than Namco Guncon2.  I have a pair of Area51 gun holsters (I assume the same as those) and they are way too small for my guncons.  Happ does make larger versions of the holster that might work, though.

I just put them on top of my cabinet - instead of the floor.

I kept thinking about getting holsters for them but I don't want thm to stick on my control panel and take up space.  What about mounting holsters on the side of a cab.

I'm going to put slots in the front of my machine on either side of the coin door for mine.

One choice is to use a U bolt as they did in Virtua Cop 2.

I did that with my Scorpion3 guncons and it worked great.  When I upgraded to Namco guncons, I added a bolt to put the trigger guard through.  It looks fine and is very functional.  I can post a picture if anyone is interested (assuming I can find one on my PC at home...the cab is currently disassembled in the garage ).
