Hey guys, just thought i'd check in and say what's up. I recently picked up a pair of Eygo 27" monitors and it inspired me to build a cab. I've always loved the look of candy cabs and seeing pics of Sosetsukens cab sealed the deal for me haha. Thing is, I already have an x-arcade tankstick so i'm building it around that and also want to paint the cab black. I guess it'll be a sort of classic/japanese hybrid  I have the plans roughly drawn out and now I just need to figure out what kind of wood to build it with. I'm not a master woodworker so i'm looking for something easy to work with and easy to paint. Anyways, love the site and the wealth of information here. I'll be sure to post a build log once I get this project going.
