A better source for tokens?
« on: July 22, 2010, 02:55:21 pm »
Well I picked up one of my old favorites a while back, a Dinoscore game (http://www.coinopexpress.com/products/machines/redemption_machines/Dinoscore_476.html)  It works just fine, all the switches are good it just needs a little polishing and such.  However it uses tokens that are not the same as what I have for my other machines (they are much smaller)  I haven't gotten a pair of calipers yet so I dont know the exact size but when I went to pick some up from Happ just to try out I found they have upped their minimum order to 1000 tokens, same goes for several other places I found.  Now since thats complete BS and Im not spending hundreds of bucks for the few tokens I really need to find some elsewhere.  Anyone found a place where you can order a more reasonable number of tokens from and for non-gouged prices?

I got samples from an ebay vendor selling used Bellagio tokens (so not 'true' arcade style).

The samples worked OK for me, although I've not yet ordered.

Might be larger than you are looking for though? 25mm/.984 inch.

$25 + s/h for 500 tokens.

In progress: Rat Rod Jukebox ** 99% Complete **
Completed: The Island Cocktail, and here
Completed: No Name Upright

The price is more important than quantity honestly.  and 25$ for 500 tokens is a wicked good deal imo.  Sadly I think those are too big for my needs but I really like the way they look, its a shame really.

I think the size I need is either the .83 or .88, the slot is pretty dang small and the manual doesn't say the size so I need to measure it exactly.
