How similar are Ms. Pacman and Galaga?
« on: July 10, 2010, 06:26:54 pm »
If I wanted to convert a beat up Ms. Pacman to a Galaga cabinet, how much work would be required?

I don't know how different the internals are, but it looks like the same cabinet.

Obviously it would have to be painted differently, but would the control panel have to be swapped? Looks similar in design, but is it not a universal panel with the button holes for other games covered up by the overlay?

What about the wiring harness and power supply, are they the same?

considering NAMCO put out a cabinet housing both games in one cab. I cant imagine it would be to difficult a process
