Tron control panel - WTB
« on: July 07, 2010, 03:40:29 pm »
Does anyone have, or know of anyone who has, an original tron trigger stick or possibly the entire control panel assembly?

I would like to build a Mame cabinet dedicated to both Tron and DOT.  I prefer to have original cabinets for these games because they're just so damn cool but I cant justify paying $800 for Tron and $1500 for DOT (not even the environmental).  The problem is the damn Tron trigger stick is so unique its VERY difficult to reproduce so I would just prefer to purchase on original one outright.

I have checked E-bay and other google searches to no avail.  I also contacts Bob Roberts who doesnt have one either.

Anyone?  Anyone?

You need to add a WTB to this (I was ready to help you out until I realized that you just wanted my stuff) and move it to B/S/T.

In the meantime, check Encryptor's Restrictor Thread and there are some threads here about converting Happ sticks to Tron. Probably easier than tracking down a new stick this late in the game (e.g. with Tron Legacy coming).

Yes Cheffo sorry for the deception but in the end all I wanted was your stuff  ;D.

Today I ordered Encyptors restrictor and GGG's blue handles.  Thanks to Bender for the detailed mod instructions.

However I am still interested in purchasing an original if anyone has one....hint..hint....Cheffo.   Send me your stuff!
