Thinking of buying the AIMTRAK, have a few questions
« on: July 02, 2010, 09:59:31 pm »
I'm pretty close to picking up an Aimtrack.

I tried the wii-mote route and was pretty disappointed.  I didn't spend a ton of time tweaking, I had a lot of trouble pairing the stupid thing but even when it worked I was unimpressed.  The general consensus is that even though it's similar tech, the aimtrak is much better correct?

The casing looks pretty decent, I know you can do it much cheaper with your own casing, but it seems like a lot of work.  Could someone give an estimated assembly time for both Ultimarcs casing and hollowing out an existing gun and also a total cost for using your own casing?  Obviously this will differ from person to person but just to get a basic idea.

Is there a decent version of any of the Buck Hunter games?  I tried the PC version but I can't shut off the crosshair which pretty much stinks.

Thanks!

If you already have a gun it would probably take an hour to put the aimtrak into the gun.    What takes more time is painting the gun and waiting for it to dry.  Stripping out the not needed parts of the gun takes about 15 min.l
