Thanks! Great links!

I'm looking for an arcade that is frequented by adults.  We have an arcade in Santa Cruz by the boardwalk.. but sooo many kids.  I'm looking for something like a barcade and it's fine if it's somewhere in the North Bay.

One was a galaga/ms.pacman reunion cabinet, which was turned up a bit too loud to comfortably play.

Jeez, really? Often the places I have been the volume is all the way off, or down so low you have to go when no one else is there/none of the newer machines are on.

I went to Denjin a few weeks ago.  I gotta say, I wasn't super-impressed.

About 1/3 of the games were off/broken.

Most were fighters, many w/ malfunctioning screens/controls/sound.

I got hit up for quarters from a teenager.

Not bad, but certainly in a state of disarray & disprepair!

Couple of places in Orange County:

Sadly closed now, but this was possibly the best retro arcade in so-cali:

The Regan Years in Fullerton, CA

I do hit up Camelot Castle from time to time though:

I was sad to see Regan Years go. It was alot of fun and had some really great games. A bar/restaurant called Slide Bar took its place. I will admit to quite a few memorable (and a couple of lost) nights there. Its nice to have a good fun bar within walking distance.
