Wiring help
« on: August 03, 2003, 06:55:04 pm »
I've read through the wiring section, but I want to be sure I do this right. If I understand correctly, I I take one wire remove the insulation at one end and put it into the connector and squeeze the end. I take the other end and plug it into the microswitch. Is that right? If so,  I have one more question. I have a dc and pc and I want both hooked up. can I put two wires in the connector one to the pc one the hacked dc controller.

Affirmative but you will have trouble daisy chaining the grounds ( 3 wires per connector won't fit most likely ) so you may have to use those fugly connector blocks.

Yeah, just need to wire like the IPAC says to wire (even if you aren't using an ipac).  Go about 2/3rds down the page.

Hooking up to both a dc and a pc there are some discussions (and rather recent too) on this subject, do a search.

Ok s 2 more real quick. When I'm crimping, am I crimping just the back plastic or the plastic and the metal tube in the middle? Also how do I connect one wire to three different buttons (my ground wire)?
