Disc Of Tron, Spinner Configs

Tring to play some Disc of tron, but mame doesn't see the spinner up and down motion.  It works in notepad, I can select things on my desktop, ect... But Mame doesn't see it... any idea's?

With a push-pull spinner, doesn't the up/down in DOT register as an analog right click/left click?

Make sure it is set that way in MAME.  You might also need to configure MAME to use Multiple Mice.

It would register as a digital (on or off) input as it used switches, right?

I set it up to see multi mouse in the ini file, tho it still doesnt reconise up/ down, right click, left click...

what am I missing?

you don't use the up/down until like level 8 or 9.  Your not testing on level 1 are you?

Isn't there a tank game that uses a push-pull spinner as well?  That might be better to test on.
