Possible to connect maximum force gun to pc?
« on: June 22, 2010, 07:43:24 pm »
Hey guys,

I've tried searching around a bit and as far as I know this isn't possible. I'm transforming my Maximum force cabinet into a Mame cab and it seems like such a shame to have to get rid of the guns. Is it possible to connect them to the computer (short of replacing the optical sensor with something like aimtrack)?

Anything is possible, I mean, the original arcade is technically a computer, and it works with that. However, if you cannot program this to work yourself, it ain't going to work. I hacked up some older guns I had and used the Aimtrack, it was the easiest solution.

not sure about your Max force, but I know on my modern arcade gun games in my work arcade (Big Buck Safari, Primeval Hunt) the guns are just USB light guns.
