WinIPAC/IPAC4/Wiring
« on: June 21, 2010, 03:07:44 am »
Ok, back from the dead (and pinball issues) to continue with arcade work and right off the bat, I'm already stumped...been too long since I've messed with this, I guess.

Anyway, I think I've wired everything correctly, but when trying to build a new template using WinIPAC (panel designer mode), some buttons, which are wired to 2 different ports on the IPAC (like say, 3SW3 and 4SW7) are registering as the same button.  In other words, when I push the button that is wired into the 3SW3 port on the IPAC4, and then mapped to 3SW3 in the panel designer, it lights up the graphical representation of that particular button like it should, but also lights up another button at the same time, namely the one that is wired into port 4SW7 and mapped to 4SW7 in WinIPAC.  Pushing that other (4SW7) button also lights both buttons.  Now, most of my buttons are wired and work as they should...it's just a few sets of 2 buttons acting like they are wired into the same port, when they are not.  In addition, there are a few buttons that are wired and mapped, which do not register graphically at all.

What am I missing here? ???
