Light the LED of my buttons in games. (with Makaron)
« on: June 20, 2010, 11:58:04 am »
Hello!

I have a 3 buttons panel with 3 LED per player, the light will light on games with MAME it work very well (even if the controls.ini of 2008 ..)

I do the same with Makaron, so I added in the "mame/controls.ini" this line for the game Under Defeat:

Quote
[under_defeat]
gamename=Under_Defeat
numPlayers=2
alternating=1
mirrored=1
tilt=0
cocktail=0
usesService=0
miscDetails=
P1NumButtons=2
P1Controls=2-way Joystick (Vertical)+vjoy2way
P1_BUTTON1=KEY_0x11
P1_BUTTON2=KEY_0x12
P2_BUTTON1=KEY_0x41
P2_BUTTON2=KEY_0x53
P1_JOYSTICK_UP=Up
P1_JOYSTICK_DOWN=Down

I really respected the input code, but it does not work ..

Is there another file to edit ? or settings in AtomicFE or LedBlinky ??

Many thanks  ;)

The controls.ini file is only used by MAME. For other emulators, you'll need to add the controls and input codes using the LEDBlinkyControlsEditor app. The "Import Unknown Games" menu option is where you should start. Check out the Install and Config.pdf file for complete documentation on using the controls editor. You can post any questions back here.

Hi Arzoo,

Yes I had already used the menu "import unknow game" issue, but it changes nothing.

here are my current settings:

I will review the documentation in detail, I have forgotten something? no?

Many thank's  :notworthy:

Everything looks correct in the controls editor. I'll need you to turn on the debug log and verbose options, run Atomic and launch Under Defeat, then email me the debug.zip file in the LEDBlinky folder.
