You'll never find it at a Home Depot,Lowes ect... The only place you'll find it is a glass shop and even they will most likely have to order it which means you'll probably have to buy a whole sheet. I checked three glass shops in my area and they all said they would have to order it. Only one place said they would break up the sheet and sell me what I need. You can get both acrylic (Lucite , Plexiglass) and polycarbonate (Lexan , Lucite-Tuf) in tinted form but I would go with acrylic for three reasons. #1 its alot cheaper #2 it resists scratches better then polycarbonate because its harder. #3 If you're just using it for the monitor glass and not a cp cover then that means the glass shop will do all the cuts and all you have to do is slap it in. However I do recommend polycarbonate for control panels since it doesn't crack and and is by far easier to work with then brittle acrylic. Especially when drilling. For monitor shields acrylic is the way to go. Its also clearer then polycarbonate and much clearer then glass believe it or not.
