Hey Minwah

Is there a way to say make artwork overlap the game list. For example in stuzza's skins he has an emu pic that is close to the game generated list, however the list overlaps the small bit of artwork instead of the otherway around. Does this make sense.

That makes since... You basically want to be able to place images with transparent backgrounds on top of the games list text box.

Depending on what Minwah is using (I heard somewhere it's VB) he may not be able to incorporate images with transparent backgrounds... And It would also be a chore to add the whole layering rules... (what tile goes on top of the others, etc...)

But that would be a neat idea & make for some cool skins...

(Now as far as if it's actually feasible or even possible, I have no idea!)

Hey Minwah... Is it?
I'm not a freak!...
Oh wait...
Yes I am...

As far as i know using the gdi it is hard to do or at least that is what hc told me  ;)

if you really want this now check out dragon king it will do what you want. (also mine and emutron but dk has a similar skinner to mamewha and you'll feel more at home  ;) )

In mamewah you technically could make the elements overlap, but you won't be pleased with the results.  It will flicker so bad that it will hurt your eyes.  :(

It can't really be done in gdi unless you are blitting everything, which I'm fairly sure mamewah doesn't do.

Correct.  It's not likely to be able to do this in the near future, so DK, 3d Arcade, EmuTron etc. are the best for these nice graphical touches :)
