Go to Home depot and look for Lucite-Tuf.  Its the same thing.  Regular Lucite is different.

Great! Thanx for the quick reply..

what about getting a bit to cut the grove for the 1/16 slot for T-molding? Home depot has only 1/8 or bigger.. and I'm not about to pay 32$CDN for that bit for my dremel.. that's hiway robbery! It looks like it can snap in half between my 2 fingers!

Good luck trying to find a 1/16th slot cutter. I looked everywhere and came up blank. I even went to a woodshow specifically to talk to Mark from Oak Park Enterprises. He sells the products from The Router Workshop on TVO. I figured if anyone would carry it, they would. They're router GODS. Nope.... not much call for it. I tried Lee Valley, no love there either.

I finally went with the 1/8" and filled the gap with hot glue. It worked like a charm, it holds like iron. I think you'll have to try US mail order if you're set on getting one.
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

I too searched high and low for a 1/16th inch slot bit, every hardware store in town. Smalles I could find was 3/32  which was still too big, sorta tight but the corners would pull out.  then I found a small little blade sharpening shop (great western saw) and he had 5 of them haging in plan site! YAY! I got the correct size bit...  so the moral check the little local guys that have been around since the beginning of time they have them in stock cause there ain't much call for them so the never get rid of them.

APToolparts (http://www.aptoolparts.com/html/slot_cut_trim_saws.html) out of Australia makes excellent bits but they aren't cheap, they have 1/16" slot cutters and up.  I got a 3/32" which worked great and haven't had any trouble with it coming out (had to tap the t-molding in with a rubber mallet).  When I bought, orders above $50 got free shipping now it's up to $75.
