ELo Touchscreen starting to malfuntion
« on: June 01, 2010, 11:46:22 am »
I've had an ELO touchscreen for about a year working as the monitor for my jukebox but it is now not working.  If i wet my finger and hit the screen really hard soemtimes it works, other wise nothing.  Are these known to go bad and is there a way to fix?

Problems Fixed.  when the spring came and temps got warmer i hung the juke outside on the back porch.....for days and days, maybee a week or two, thats when things got bad.  I brought it inside where a dehumidifier is for a few days, wiped the screen down with alcohol, and re-seated the serial cable.  Not sure what exactley did its but working perfect now.
