Ok, I am not going to lie. I have not really done any searching.
Not necessarily being lazy but just have a lot of screwed up ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- going on in my life right now.
So if I could just get a little guidance with minimal effort on my part it would be greatly appreciated.

Looking for a touch screen monitor....probably going to use Nordbeat (already own) or Album Player.
Looking to get a minimum of 21"....perhaps up to even 27".

Recommendations, suggestions?
Want something good quality, prepared to spend a few bucks.

what is the difference between touch screen type
CarrollTouch.....5-wire resistive....surface acoustic wave

One other question.
I was thinking of hooking this up with a pc that will also be used for other things.
I am currently running a pc with 2 monitors.
Would it be possible to add this touch screen as a 3rd monitor totally dedicated to the jukebox.
By this I mean when I boot up can I have my jukebox software automatically run on the touchscreen and use the other 2 monitors for normal pc use?

OR....since jukebox software is not going to be really demanding on pc power....should I just get a cheap pc and run it separately?

The one major advantage to using the existing pc is that I already have a very nice set of speakers hooked up to it.

Thank you for any advice on this.

MultiFE did support starting on any monitor, but was needed to remove that in the recent release due blitzmax command conflict after a upgrade.

Anyway get your self a cheap PC and install Nordbeat or Album Player (or what you use). Its better to have a cheap dedicated PC, since most software dont support monitors that way. You could use that as a NAS to for your music for other PC and such thing.
Decade Old Work: MultiFE, ArcadeMusicBox
Today Works: Various Spectrum Next games from Rusty Pixels and html5 games.

I am at work so I dont have the time for much input here, but as far as touch screen monitors go, ELO makes fantastic units.  I picked up a used 19" on ebay a few years back for $220 (A frickin' steal!)  Unfortunately, an ELO monitor the size you are looking for would require an average Joe like myslef to have to take out a loan to be able to afford!!!  I have been seriously considering upgrading to one of the new multitouch monitors available.  Way more affordable than ELO but they may require you to run Windows 7 to utilize the touch.  Also,  the touch technology sounds a little less reliable than what ELO uses on their units.  Check these out:

and I just got a 15" on eBay for $50 (+$15 s/h).

But ya, those big ones are huge money.

Another thought that someone suggested to me today....since I will most likely go with a dedicated computer.

Anyone here have any experience with the HP Touchsmart computers? I think they make those up to 24"....can they be mounted on a wall?

Some of the HP Touchsmarts have VESA mounts so they are wall mountable with the right size bracket. You would have to check the specs on the specific model.  The screen size is quoted at 23 or 24 inches depending on the model so it is like getting a touchscreen monitor with a computer thrown in.

If I used an HP touchsmart would I be able to use my tv as a secondary monitor for playing videos with the jukebox?

Depends on the on the type of video that comes with the model of Touchsmart.  Look for some video output that you can use to feed your TV.  For example the model below lists a video output DVI-D.

Touchsmart 9100
