Joystick and mouse buttons
« on: May 25, 2010, 12:18:44 am »
I've got a standard-ish CP layout with 4/8way joystick/spinner/and spinner/mouse buttons on top. For 1 player joystick games I would like to use the 4/8way + the 2 mouse buttons, but I'm having trouble with that setup. The joystick works fine, but the mouse buttons only work for spinner games, not for joystick games. In mame general/default controls I've got P1 Button 1 mapped to Joy1 B0 and M0 (mouse button one), but only the joystick buttons works. Anyone know why?

make sure mouse is set to 1 in your mame.ini file.

your setup should work just fine, we use the mouse buttons with the 4way stick on the cabinet at work and they work fine
