turning people into tombstones? remember this game?
« on: May 18, 2010, 09:21:29 pm »
When I was a kid at the skating rink(mid to late 70s), I used to love a black and white video game where you drove a car and when you ran over the people on the screen, they turned into tombstones or crosses.  Does anybody know what game that might be?

Death Race

Played this one a lot on a four player "cocktail" style table.

I don't think it's in mame though.

no the game was entirely built with TTL chip technology, not a processor and rom chips... thus not MAME-able, since there is nothing to "emulate"

That's the one!  Boy, I spent a lot of quarters on that one between skating circles and doing the hokey-pokey.  Thanks for the info guys.
