shipping a marquee
« on: May 11, 2010, 07:34:10 pm »
Hey guys I just sold some marquee art to Malenko and I dunno how to ship it to him.  I was going to just roll it up and stick it in a paper towel tube to keep it form getting bent but i pulled it out of my cab and found it is conderably thicker than I thought, so now Im scared if it roll it up too tight i may crack it.  I want to ship it with the CPS cart i also sold him to save shipping but can i do that safely?

I can toss some extra money to cover it if need be. I think rolling it up is either gonna crack it or make it really hard to install

If you sandwich between cardboard you don't need a box.

HAHA!

just ship it and if it costs more then you thought, I'll pay the difference, its not a huge deal to me.

When I bought my DK one from Mamemarquees it came rolled up and shipped in a poster tube mailer. Worked out fine, i put it between two sheets of plexi and mounted it to my cab with the marquee brackets from Mikes Arcade for nintendo cabs.
