Mala crashing when switching emulators

I'm having a problem switching emulators and think maybe the layout is causing it
keeps crashing Mala when get to Astrocade
Below is some of the log and attached is the whole log

Maybe because of Absolute path was not correct I changed all in layout editor and resized some fonts and all seems well now

Would still like to know the problem as I am still curious

I have seen this when a game list (regardless of emulator) gets into a state somehow where it is too long or zero in length. I have changed the code in some places already to handle this but there may be more bugs. Time will tell when I release new MaLa beta and you guys heavily test it for me

Yea, something is up because I am still getting this crash at times but when you do an update I'll be glad to test it for you if it won't screw up my setting to bad.

Yeah you don't want to risk mess up you setup.

I recomend copy and pasting the mala folder to another (in dunno .. called .. say malatest) and use the beta seperatley

I got the same prob now with the most stable version 2010/05/09  18:48:48.36   Error: Object Class: TTimer, Object Function: DisplayMarquee, Exception Class: EListError, Exception Message: List index out of bounds (14)

I might be a little late tacking onto this thread, but I had a similar problem with the first multi emulator setup I did in MaLa. It turned out that MaLa didn't like using PNG files for the layout, so I converted them to GIFs and never had the crashing problem again!

I just converted a few Marquee JPG's to PNG and it seemed to work ok.

If you could let me know if you have the same problem with the latest beta that would be useful
