Can anyone tell me?
« on: May 03, 2010, 08:15:38 pm »
I have a Rowe CD100b jukebox. My problem is the previous owner cut off the white plastic clip that connects the high and mid-range speakers to the crossover network.
My question is, can I use a CD100a crossover which doesn't use clips, the wires are held in place with screws?

Any help would be greatly apprieciated!

Thank you,
Matt

Hi Matt,

Are you talking about the crossover or the Output Package (called Output Transformer Assembly 40832101) situated above the amplifier compartment on the lid of the same?

Hello Alan,

Thanks for your reply. What I am asking is if I can use a CD100a crossover in a CD100b jukebox.

The CD100b crossover looks like this:

The CD100a crossover looks like this:

Thank's again,
Matt

Your first picture is of a crossover circuit board.

Your second picture is of the output transformer assembly and is not a crossover.

Hello Matt,

Ken is correct that is why I asked the question I thought you were confused re the discriptions.

The Output Package is connected to the amplifier and the cross over is connected to output package by harness A11, the speakers are wired to this cross over via harness A12 and A13.

I suggest you source new harnesses or repair the ones in your jukebox.

Hello all,

Ahh, I see. The Output Package in the above picture was mislabeled on E-bay as a crossover for a CD100a, hence my confusion. This is my fathers jukebox, I'm trying to help him get it working.

Alan, do you know where I could purchase those harnesses A12 and A13? If I could just buy those he'd be set. I have been all over the net and it's very hard to find things like this if you don't know where to look. I stumbled on this forum and kinda hoped for the best.

Thanks again for clearing that up for me, I am in no way a jukebox mechanic. Lol. But I now have an extra Output Package if any one is interested... Lol.

Thanks again,
Matt

Hello Matt,

Search on the Rowe Ami site for a distributor the nearest to your location, they should be able to order the looms for you.
www.roweinternational.com

You could also try at the following sites:-
www.victoryglass.com
www.suzo.com
www.jukeboxparts.com

The harness you want is part of a main harness. You have to order this harness from a Rowe distributor:

Rowe # 61035503 Harness and Switch Assembly

Connecting it all up is shown on pages 5-42 and 5-43 of your manuals set.

Bruce Wentworth at AB Jukebox Repair might have the harness:
