How to show resolution
« on: May 02, 2010, 03:16:50 pm »
Hi all,
Is there a way to show the resolution a game is on. What I would like is to have MAME tell me ia what resolution I'm running on my screen at the time. My D9800 will tell me whatsome info on the OSD but not the resolution.

Thanks
Stephan

It will only tell you the horizontal and vertical refresh, which you can use to get 'close' to the resolution.  If you see something near 15khz/60Hz you are probably somewhere around 320x240.  25khz would be around 512x384, 31khz 640x480, 38khz 800x600.

it should tell you on start up or you could press tab and then select video options.
