go with a nForce2 board ... there dirt cheap ... and way better than the KT400 chipset which were a let down from the start.

Epox 8RDA+ from Newegg for $83 (free shipping) is a better choice ... with some Mushkin 512MB PC3200 Level2 Dual Pack ... could easily (depending on the stepping of that 2600+) overclock to 3.0Ghz or higher ... which means that darn near all MAME roms would play without skipping a single frame  ;D

Looks pretty good to me. Hopefully you got some ddr400 to go with it. Your games should fly!

It will be just fine.  I would have seconded Cisco's epox recommendation.  I almost used that for my cab, but I ended up using my old computer...a p3 733.

Also, newegg has an asus version fo that board for $55.  I would prefer the asus brand over syntax, but I am sure you will have no trouble.  Bookmark newegg!  They have great deals and they are my favorite online computer store.

Good luck!

Just to jump on the newegg bandwagon, their refurbished stuff can be good also.  I bought a Shuttle KT333 refurbished board for $23 shipping included.  You only get a 15-day warranty (from purchase date) on these, but the board has run flawlessly with a Duron 850 for  four weeks now!!!
