What game is this cabinet?
« on: April 20, 2010, 11:35:04 am »
there's 3 arcade machines for $100 each on my Craigs List.  They seem to be in good condition.   Plus Golden Tee with a trackball, coin door and possibly working monitor would for sure be worth $100.

Anyway, I can't figure out what the last arcade cabinet is, the one without the marquee.   It looks like each player has their own spinner???  Unless I am mistaken.  Anyone know what game that is?   And if they are spinners, would there be a way to get them to work with a pc and MAME you think?

Let me know what you think!

Forgotten Worlds: http://www.arcade-museum.com/game_detail.php?game_id=7842

It had spinners that you pushed down to fire.

Awesome!  Thanks!   So about converting the spinners to MAME, would that even work then?   Seems like if these spinners push in to fire, that they might not spin in the same way that an Arkanoid type spinner would...   Thoughts on that?

Not sure.  You think?   It does sort of look big, and has a big marquee like gauntlet did.  That would be pretty crazy.

Too bad I have no money and can't buy any of these cabinets.   Sucks.   Someone should send me $100 bones and I'll mail you the parts you want  ;D

I googled lots of different Golden Tee 99 cabs and there are some that look mighty similar to that one pictured above, so maybe its a dedicated cab (I don't know anything about Golden tee!) one thing that makes it look more like a Gauntlet cab is it seems to have 4 coin inputs.

I bet you could make a pretty convincing Gauntlet out of it even so!  :)
