Mounting GGG omni-stik on wood CP

I ordered some omni-stik basics from groovygamegear and i didnt realize how much different they were than standard happ's. Does anyone know of a good way to mount them on a wood cp? I usually route out the bottom and then do a 1-1/8 hole for the happs. Since these dont have a dust washer or much extension, i guess there is not really a good way?

There are actually a couple of ways to approach this.  One is to do what you normally do, but route out a pocket large enough for the hump.  You might still want a dust washer, but a clean hole with the inside edges blackened doesn't look terrible with these sticks either.

If you have an overlay, you can You can also top route for these sticks.  This requires some good router skills, but can give you a nice finished look, with the dome above the overlay.

But the easiest way is with a mounting plate.  We have these available if you don't wish to use either of the above methods.

i thought about top routing... i might just try that bc I am using a mame marquees overlay. do the shafts come out? i didnt look too hard but it didnt seem like they did.. dont have one by me at the moment. i just figured it would be hard to line up the holes for the "humps" with them in the cp already while installing it, and hard to get pressure on the whole surface for it to stick good.

whats the cost on the plates? any photos? in stock?

They are the same plates used on the Prodigy, sans the slot for the 4/8-way switch.

They use a snap ring, rather than an E-clip like other sticks.  Snap ring pliers work best, but you can make due with a small set of needlenose pliers, or anything that can be put into the holes of the ring and used to spread them apart slightly.
