JPAC, let me get this right

So I can take a Jpac, connect PS2 cables, a VGA Cable from a Video Card, My main JAMMA Cable on my cab and run the pc on the cab with nothing more, maybe a insert coin button or something, but that's it?  What about the kick connector?  (the smaller connector)

close. You still need soft15 or an arcade VGA card.
If you're replying to a troll you are part of the problem.
I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

hmmm......  I was looking at an arcade vga plus an ipac2, but this sounds like a nobrainer if I can dig out a soft15 compatible card...  whats the downside?

no kick harness needed, theres extra inputs on the JPAC for those buttons.

Downside? I guess the fact you need to hook the PC to a VGA source to install soft 15 and sometimes you need to tweak the resolutions. Im no expert on it, but Ive had no problems with it. Check the soft15 thread.

Is there any reason why I shouldn't be able to run a USB-connected trackball with a similar J-PAC setup to the one in this thread? I can't think of one, but then again I am pretty new at this.

Neat! Thanks! Ultimarc next then. :) Just bought myself a nice JAMMA cabinet that I will jazz up.
