hotrod joystick layout .. where is it?
« on: July 29, 2003, 04:00:01 pm »
A while ago, the hotrod joystick web site had the schematics for its joystick, but now I can't find it.  I really like the layout a lot, and would like my mame cabinet to have the same layout..

anyone has it, or know where I can find it? I'm particularly looking for the dimensions, button spacing, etc.

Thanks in advance!

HotRod
Top
23 3/4 inch wide
11 inch deep

Base
22 1/2 inch wide
8 1/2 inch deep
1 3/4 inch high front
3 1/2 inch high back

I think a wiring list of their interface was available
but do not think that they have ever released a schematic
of the circuit.

http://hanaho.com/products/HotRodJoystick/faq.html , but most of this is already mentioned in above post.

Other stuff:
button: ~1 5/8" vertical & horizontal in 3x2 rectangle, center to center
"7th" button: ~1 1/4" vertical & horizontal from nearest button, center to center

joystick: ~3" horizontal, center to center from nearest button
