What about all those other MAMEUI directories
« on: April 12, 2010, 08:16:24 pm »
Hey folks,
What about all those other directories available under MAMEUI? I followed the directions for installing MAME and MALA but I also have all those other MAMEUI files in directories like \backgrounds, \cabinets, \cpanel and others... What do we do with those? Are they useful for MAME and MALA? I have samples, artwork and snaps. Do I need something else?

Thanks
Stephan

If you want game images to show, then yes they are useful.

Hey I/O,
Thanks. But if I'm using MAME and not MAMEUI, where would I put those other files since it looks like MAME and MALA suggested directory structures don't include those other directories that MAMEUI creates at install.

Thanks
Stephan
