Led-Wiz will not work with windows 7 please help

Led-Whiz will not work with windows 7 please help. I received a new cp from jack arcadesrus.  The ledwiz is not plug & play with windows 7 64 bit.  I get a error usb is recognized or the unit is bad.
Can someone point me to a driver
or can someone tell me what I can to set this unit up.  I would not think the led-wiz is bad.  Any help is appreciated & the person who can help me solve this  I will send some parts

First, do you have any PC that is not win 7 so you can test it out?  (XP is preferred).

I have vista on a spart laptop & thats it.  The unit was tested before shipping to me

Is your motherboard BIOS up to date?  This sometimes helps with these problems.

Also, try unplugging ALL usb devices, then plug in JUST the LED-Wiz.

yah, bios is good.  I will unplug all & try that if still having a issue I will hook up to both of my laptops one has vista the other win 7.  I will post back

Also worth a shot, remove all USB devices, REBOOT, then plug ONLY the LED-Wiz in.

You are mistaken.  The LED-Wiz is very plug and play compatible with Windows 7 64-bit and needs no extra driver.  It fires right up on my Quad Core.

As others have stated, make sure you don't already have a bunch of devices hanging off the port, keeping in mind that a "port" on a PC can encompass between 2 and 4 USB connections, depending upon the way the motherboard is structured.  You aren't just dealing with the power used by the LED-Wiz, but also the devices controlled by it if no external power is supplied to them.

Well this just bites I unhooked everything on the usb & had the kb & mouse on the ps2 ports, same problem the wiz gets a install error on my computer with the gigabyte motherboard dual core processor.  I then tried on my laptop & the board installed just fine.   Any ideas I can check the bios again but trackball, spinner & ggg encoder all work fine

This is a long shot, but how about trying a different cable and/or connector on the PC?  Just in case one of your connectors has gone funky.

Maybe reset bios to defaults.  Check to see if there is an option for Legacy USB in the bios.
Try different USB port.  Make sure you are not using USB extension cable.
Verify USB port works with something else.

Ok, problem 1 solved...I did a system restore to before I plugbed in the cp's usbs all at once. Mouse, spinner, encoder, keywiz & plugged all at once. Then I redid it 1 at at a time, keywiz first & it did the setup no problem.

2. New problem 2...Jack from arcaderus sent me mala all ready to go with the blinky already in place...no lights still & I had the error in the blinky notepad so more help would be appreciated

error is  "fe_start event can only be fired one time"

Sounds like you have an issue in your MALA setup...

You can try asking loadman for help in the MALA forum

Or you can ask arzoo for help with ledblinky.

Could be a Mala problem or something with the LEDBlinky configuration. The version of blinky that Jack has licensed is old - so you should probably download the latest version. If you turn on the debug and verbose options and email me the debug.zip file I'll take a look.

There's an upgrade file which can be used for versions 3.7.3 or later - but I'm not sure which version you currently have. So before doing any upgrade let me check out the log - using the LEDBlinkyConfig.exe app, on the "Misc Options" tab, check the Debug Log and Verbose options. Then run Mala. Afterwards, you should have a debug.zip file in the LEDBlinky folder. Email me the zip.
