I think this is an april fools joke but the unit does look interesting.   I think the Steve Bros game is the telling factor. Happy April 1

If you click the buy now, you get the april fools message.

But it's actually kindof a cool idea...

They made the Tantan sleeping bag, and it was an April Fool's item, so maybe they'll make this.

I'd really like that as I'm slacking on my Tigercade, but I like the Canned Unicorn meat (http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/unicorn-meat.shtml) more.

Even more funny, those coloured stripes on the sides look similar to the colours in the old Apple logo. It's either a really good April Fool prank or a disguised marketing test to see if people would want such a thing. I'd change a few details such as the "bumps" used to hold the iPad, the angle of the iPad itself. But the idea is push far enough that they thought about using the top of the screen for the marquee, and it's a really nice touch.

Not sure they'd be able to license those first three games, however. Not to mention they would need approval for controlling games via an external device. If ThinkGeek are smart they'd partner with iControlPad to share the same gamepad/joystick hardware.

They did the taun-taun sleeping bag as an April Fool's joke several years ago.  People liked it so much, they decided that there was actually a market for it, and started plans to produce it for real.

You never know, some of these ideas like the "iCade" could go from being a joke to being real, if there's enough interest in it.

I spelled it wrong, but I already pointed it out.

I saw this earlier today and got a little excited. ThinkGeek does a great job with their mockup april fools jokes, and I'm not ashamed to admit that I was fooled. Damn. It seemed like the perfect little bar-top idea.

By the way, I've seen the taun-taun sleeping bag in person (A freind bought it for his son) and it's much bigger than I had imagined. I assumed it would be kids' size, but it's gigantic!

I think I clicked on it 100 times so far hoping it was true.

That would be perfect for my desk at work.

If you all really want this thing you should click on the "Buy Now" link then the "Want these products for real? Let us know!" button on the next page...
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen
