Hey all-

Its been a long time!  I build my cabinet 7 or 8 years ago and sadly it sat off for the past 2 years.  My 6 year old now wants to play, so I fired it back up to all kinds of software and hardware issues.  I have most of it figured out, but I have at least 1 question.  My mame roms are from version .103 and I have recently recompiled a custom version of mame .106 to run on the cabinet.  Isn't there something I need to do to the romset to make sure all the games are playable on .106?  Seems like I went through this once before when I went from .67 to something else.

Also if anyone knows, I would like to change my build so that when you pause a game it not only dims the screen but shows "Paused" in the middle.  The last build I had did that, but I don't remember how I did it!

Anyway, its good to be back and I look forward to being on here again!

scan the roms with clrmamepro. It will fix the ones you have (rename, etc), and tell you which ones you are missing.
