E-Touch uses Windows Media Player as its music player, its embedded into the program. So if WMP will play M4A files, then it should play them in E-touch. Maybe there is a M4A add-on for WMP? I'm not an itunes user nor have I ever used it, so my knowledge is slim to none. I use a converter called Easy CD-DA Extractor

Looks like the M4A files are copy protected files that can only be played in iTunes.
But your in luck as there are many converters out there. Use the one I suggested in the link above. It works for me! Put a couple hundred tunes in there everynight before bed and they should be done by morning!
As for E-Touch finding M4A files in the config, it will find anything in the search mask that you tell it too. It will even find .txt files if you put it in there.
