i'd like to find a 4 player coin door with the mechanics that worked, doesnt need to be in great shape, im more then happy to repaint it and fix it up myself

Good luck.  These are really hard to find used.  At least, that's been my contention.

You could get a Williams style, cut the third player out of the metal, and make it an impromptu three player door, but that won't help your four player problem.

Konami used to put two over/under coin doors side by side  to solve the 4-player coindoor problem (i.e. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles).  The over/unders aren't too hard to find...ebay or RGVAC
