Maybe that four player panel is worth it after all  ;D

Sooo hope this gets a 360 + netplay release.

(Has youtube embedding been removed btw?)

Looks pretty cool.    8)

NICE!

I've been playing Pacman:CE on my 360 Cabinet for a while, and I freakin' love it with a proper 4-way joystick. The 360 controller doesn't do the game justice.  I was considering making a double monitor cabinet for Pacman Vs., running a gamecube, but this would work about cheaper! :)

I really really hope this comes to xbox live...

edit: also, I'd like to see Billy Michelle play this game with 3 other people.  How quickly would an alliance against him start?  >:D

The no score part is an odd choice though.  Oh well, can't wait to try it!

got a chance to see and play this unit at the Amusement Expo in Vegas back in March. Namco had it at their booth as a sneek peak. Rumor is it will go into production in the fall. I got a good bit of hands on time with it too. the cabinet does indeed look fantastic. Great throw back with a modern twist. The Namco reps I was talking to said they are targeting this mostly for bars. The 4 player is addictive and its a blast to play. Eating your buddies/opponents is really satisfying and the game screen itself looks great! With any luck, I will be selected as a test site for this unit. I talked to the rep at length about it and told him we would love to be a test store for this as It would fit into our game room great, and with our debit card system, I can easily give accurate earnings reports for it. I hope we get selected. If not I will definitely be buying one of these once they are released

Yeah, I can see how they're taking queues from the Vewlix cabinets. The bottom half is basically a vewlix, but with a slim centered profile. The t-molding around the top is kind of a neat touch, going with brown (or is it actually wood grain?) to match the wood laminate.
Love the cup holders, and the throw-back look of the side-panels (now support panels).

I don't think it'll be long till we see someone make a repro-mame cabinet out of this design. At least that's what I'm hoping...I think this design would make for a really good horizontal cocktail.
