Ultimarc and device ID's
« on: March 10, 2010, 09:29:29 pm »
I am purchasing a ultimarc ipac 2 usb interface and a pacdrive usb board. When I go to checkout it allows me to choose a device id for the pacdrive. do I put device id 2 because of the ipac2 that is also there or do I choose device 1 since its the only pacdrive device.

If it's the same device you need different IDs.
For different devices, the IDs are irrelevant unless for some reason the drivers look for IDs in sequential order starting from 1.
In your case, it sounds like different devices.
