Mini Keyboard/Mouse for cabinets (Lenovo)
« on: March 10, 2010, 01:48:43 pm »
Did a quick search and didn't see this anywhere, but I grabbed one for my HTPC and may use it in my cab as well:
Lenovo Keyboard

I got it on sale a bit ago for $40.  It's a solid build and works fairly well.  Even has a function key to do a CTRL-ALT-DEL.  I'm going to set it up so F1 keys get sent via key press combinations using AHK (if I find it necessary) for the cab...should work well.

Hope you don't mind me throwing this in too...

This one popped up in my feeds over the last couple of days....

It's backlit and has a laser pointer!  :) It costs more at $92, but it looks pretty good.

I wish these devices had real F1 etc... keys.  BTW, what is AHK?

AutoHotKey. Nifty proggy you should get.

Here is another one you could consider for $37.29usd shipped.

2.4GHz 2.8" Mini Wireless Handheld QWERTY Keyboard and Mouse Touchpad (White)

If you want a little bit more range you could go for the bluetooth equivalent as well for $42.11usd shipped

2.8" Mini Bluetooth Handheld QWERTY Keyboard and Mouse Touchpad (Black)

That brando one sure looks nice and much cheaper compared to the Logitech DiNova I picked up for my cousin in Miami last year for his HTPC.
