Driving Cab height

In the process of designing the sides for my driving cab.  I was kinda basing it on the ST Voyager sit down gun game, but was wondering how tall the cab SHOULD be.  I would like to cut both sides out of ONE sheet of MDF, but 4' seems a little short.
