MALA and CHD only files

I'm loving MALA so far and it's working great after getting used to the little quirks here and there. 

The only thing I can't figure out how to do is get the CHD only games to show up in the list.  I think the MAME part of MALA is only looking for games with the zip extension, which works for about 98% of games, but there are a few titles now that are composed entirely of a CHD file (mainly G-Net games) and they won't show up in any list no matter what I try.  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Are you sure there are CHD only games? Can you get the game to run in MAME from a command line? I spot checked a couple GNET games at MAWS, and the Driver Status is listed as Imperfect.

Another thing to check... Click the Options button next to the Rom path in the MAME Config tab and check the following options:


Do these make a difference, after you refresh the main game list?

I'm 95% sure I left all of the options unchecked to test whether mala would pick up the files and it did not have any effect on the outcome.  I'll try it once more and report back.  Thanks for the suggestion though.
