KeyWiz fails to connect
« on: February 28, 2010, 11:00:05 pm »
Hey all, Im having some issues with my KeyWiz. Everything is plugged in and was working on my main computer but when I plugged it into arcade machines computer it wont connect. The software gives me Connection Failed. ive checked all of the wires and everything is still connected. I know the ground is working fine because I have my mouse buttons running ground from the KeyWiz and they still work. This has me stumped. Ive been searching around for a while now and the closest thing to an answer Ive found is its a compadability issue with my mobo. Im really hoping thats not it.
please, somebody help me  :dunno

It's probably your mobo. Try flashing the BIOs to the latest version and see if that helps. If it doesn't, drop Randy a line and see what he can offer...

So I dont know what I did but it seems to be working now... It seems that after a couple of reboots it works. I know i rebooted after i first plugged in and nothing happened so Im not sure what changed this time but either way im glad now  :applaud:
