metal slug help

so i uploaded to mame 0.136 to get my aimtrak working, now i don't see metal slug(s) in my game list under game ex, which is strange
so i tried to launch it manually and i get the sfix.fix etc is not present, when the neogeo.zip file is still under the roms directory like it always was..

anyone got any ideas?

There was a change in the way MAME handles the NeoGeo games a few versions back.  You can either update your rom set or else manually move some files around.  You would be best served to search the MAME updates list to see what the exact change was so you can get it resolved.  Well, unless someone else remembers exactly what file needed to be moved where that is.
