Small normal looking pushbottons??
« on: February 27, 2010, 09:59:06 am »
I know I have seen someone use these on here before!

Anyways, I am looking for a smaller button that looks like a normal Happ pushbutton. I need to add a button to my pacman cocktail control panels, and a normal sized button will hack off a bunch of pacmans head.

Anyone have a link to these things?

Is this for admin stuff or for repeated use in a game?  If it is for admin THESE BUTTONS work pretty good.

If it for repeated use during game play then 24mm is as small as I've seen (Sanwa, I think) but Happs are around 28mm so they aren't that much smaller...

The smaller Japanese ones availiable are generally Sanwa OSBF-24 (snap in) or OSBN-24 (nut type) or Seimitsu PS-14-D-BK (snap in) or PS-14-DN (nut type).

They require a 24mm hole and have a outer diameter of 27mm.

Standard action buttons (Jap or Happ) have an outer diameter of 33mm so the smaller buttons are about 6mm (1/4") .

Take a look at lizardlick.com. They also have some smaller '18mm and 20mm' buttons but I don't know what they are like for action buttons.

The SDM-18 looks mostly like a Happ standard pushbutton but can't be used as an action button (to much pressure required).

Excellent! These are the ones I was looking for. I see a few people who have modded a 20mm to use a bigger switch meant for gameplay. I might do that.
