Trackball worth it in this setup?
« on: February 24, 2010, 10:18:11 pm »
The CP on my cab is approx. 6 inches.  Is it worthwhile to try to crab a trackball into the middle of one of my swappable CPs (given I can even find one that fits)?

I'm curious if the lack of 'distance' available for really spinning the sucker would elminate the vast majority of trackball games outside of Crystal Castle, Marble Madness, Missile Command, and Centipede...

Might require you to adapt your style.
I've played golden tee & world class bowling against people who placed a hand on each side of the trackball and flicked it with both thumbs.
They did as well as anyone.

(I still prefer skipping my hand across the top.  Fingers be d@#$ed if there is something just past the trackball.)
