Is this design ok?

Will any of the parts here interfere with eachother?

If you plan on putting the Player1 start and player2 start buttons beside each other, then yes they will interfere with each other because they are too close (the person icons won't be vertical).   If you put them vertically, player1 above player2 you wont have that problem.  Or you can just add more space between the buttons.

First of all, you may wanna try reposting with a smaller image. Reading replies is gonna suck...

Seems like alot of real esate for 3 controllers, but I guess it just takes that much. If you ever plan on adding a trackball, though, you're gonna find that joystick in the way.

Also, what are those 4 buttons on the left? If any of them are buttons that the person on the right is going to want to reach then they're screwed.

You can probably reduce the width if you move the 2 SF sets down a bit and closer together. Plus your'e looking at a lot of wasted space below the controls. You'll want some for wrist rests, but you don't need more than 3. This would help to center your control panel. Ofcourse, I don't know how large your machine is, so this may fit it all well. Just seems a bit odd to have the SF controls so far to the outside, but then they have all that space below.

Actually, I think you can remove the head from a Happ pushbuttons and just rotate it 180 degrees to avoid this problem. Haven't tried it, but it would theoretically work.

They're the all-important admin buttons.

More info about the panel. I do plan to add a trackball in the middle when I have more dough. The four buttons surrounding the middle stick do the following:

Top left: 1P
Top right: 2P
Bottom left: 1P coin
Bottom right: 2P coin
