Dual Light Guns on Old Version Of Mame???

Just an easy quick question. Will dual light guns work on Mame 0.106 and/or Mame 0.92?? Which also begs the question who decided to go from version 0.99 to .100, thats kinda weird.

Anyway, I have an old computer I want to use for my cab and I run Mame 0.129 for most games and for games that have trouble I defer to Mame 0.106 or 0.92 and some games do play fine in them that play horrible in Mame 0.129. Some being shooters. Hence the question. I have two guncons running in WinGun and I'm just curious for the games that I defer to an older Mame, can I play them with dual guncons?? Thanks for any advice.

If the answer is no then there is only one solution, I need a better PC. I did plan to upgrade down the line but was hoping to get this one functional while the fundage collects. Again, thanks for any advice.

I searched rigorously, but found nothing specific or definitive. Was just wondering if anyone had already found this out or happened to see my post who did get this working and could say so.
