Removing magnets from coin mech

to any canadians who have modified their american coin mechs, how did you remove the magnets? in my happ coin mech they are glued down really solid. do i need to cut out some plastic to get to them, or is there a trick that im just not seeing?

I've never come across any that were glued in. Sometimes they were challenging to get out, but a couple of sharp raps and out they came.
